Gautam Mukhopadhyay, is a Senior leader and Corporate Professional from Kolkata (the City of Joy) India, having > 28 years of experience in Sales & Marketing and in Supply Chain & Logistics. He has begun his career in Consumer durables with The Jay Engineering Works Limited but went on to a brick mortar industry like Cement and have worked in esteemed Companies like ACC LTD., Lafarge Holcim and at JSW Cement Limited. During his career he has got the opportunity to work across regions in India and at abroad in countries like, Malaysia, Mexico, Switzerland, Algeria etc. in specific Logistics Excellence Projects. Also, Gautam has worked in various capacities starting from the grassroot level to the various leadership roles in management e.g., Sales Unit Head (Strategic Business Unit), Director Logistics -East, Global Logistics Excellence Navigator, Zonal Business Head (Sales & Marketing) / Vice President – East etc. that has given him a fantastic opportunity to work across different geographies, cultures and races to gather invaluable experiences which are often unique.

During his entire career he has worked with many a Consultants like BCG, McKinsey. AT Kearney, Accenture and so on and was instrumental in launching and implementing the first ever kind of Sales & Marketing Excellence (SMX) Program with one such renowned Consulting company. A few of his key areas of expertise is Operational Excellence, Channel Relationship Marketing, Growth Strategy, Go 2 Market Strategy, New or Premium Product Launching and Leadership development. The purpose of Gautam’s life is to” Lead from wherever he is and to proactively contribute to inclusive growth of others while getting performance delivered.” Going forward he is quite keen to contribute in a small way inculcating leadership to make others become Leader and getting Leadership exponentially grow. 

Gautam has done his Post graduation in Commerce and in Business Administration and is very recently pursuing his General Management & Leadership program from INSEAD Business School. He is also a certified practitioner in PPA (Personal Profile Analysis), HJA (Human Job Analysis) and the Trait Emotional Intelligence (TEIQue) from the Thomas International. He has also undergone various leadership development programs like Transformational Leadership program from IIMA, Level III Leadership Role Change Program form ISB Hyderabad, Holcim Leadership Management Seminar in Switzerland etc. His other are areas of interest is Guest Lecturing in various Academic Institutions, Public Speaking, Blogging & Writing. Adventure Sports, Charity / Philanthropy is his passion and he takes solace in the spirituality of Ramakrishna -Vivekananda order.
